ABSTRAK Zahro, Hannandya Afnan. 2020. Pengaruh Pemberian Ekstrak Daun Pandan Wangi (Pandanus amaryllifolius) Terhadap Daya Bunuh Bakteri Eschericia coli Dengan Menggunakan Metode Dilusi. Pembimbing : Agus Algozi, dr.,SpF(K).,DFM.,SH afnanhannandya@yahoo.com Daun pandan wangi (Pandanus amaryllifolius) memiliki dikenal memiliki banyak khasiat karena banyak dimanfaatkan pada pengobatan tradisional. Daun pandan wangi memiliki aktivitas antibakteri, baik bakteri gram positif maupun bakteri gram negatif karena kandungan flavonoid, fenol, triterpenoid, dan saponin yang terkandung di dalamnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ekstrak Daun pandan wangi (Pandanus amaryllifolius) terhadap pertumbuhan Escherichia coli dengan metode dilusi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental laboratorium dengan post test control group design. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan 25 lempeng Eosin Methylene Blue (EMB) yang akan ditanami bakteri Escherichia coli dan 15 lempeng agar akan diberikan ekstrak daun pandan wangi serta 5 lempeng agar sebagai kontrol negative, dan 5 lempeng agar sebagai kontrol positif. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kelompok perlakuan dengan konsentrasi 25%, 50%, dn 75%, menunjukkan daya bunuh pada pertumbuhan bakteri Escherichia coli. Dari hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya pengaruh pemberian ekstrak Daun pandan wangi terhadap daya bunuh Escherichia coli Kata kunci : Ekstrak Daun pandan wangi, daya bunuh, Pandanus amaryllifolius, Escherichia coli ABSTRACK Zahro, Hannandya Afnan. 2020. Pandan wangi leave has antibacterial activity, both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria because of the content of flavonoids, phenols, triterpenoids, and essential oils contained in it. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the administration of pandan wangi leave extract (Pandanus Amaryllifolius) on the growth of Escherichia coli by dilution method. This research is a laboratory experimental study with post test control group design. In this study using 25 plates of Eosin Methylene Blue Agar Media (EMB) which will be planted with Escherichia coli bacteria and 15 plates so that they will be given pandan wangi leave extracts, , and 5 plates so as positive controls. The results obtained from this study indicate that the treatment group with concentrations of 25%, 50%, and 75% showed the formation of inhibitory zones in the growth of Streptococcus pyogenes bacteria. From the results of the analysis it can be concluded that there is an effect of giving Pandan wangi leave extract to the diameter of the inhibitory zone and kills Escherichia coli.
