Abstract

ABSTRACT In modern times people are looking for goods that can be easily made online without having to meet directly with business entrepreneurs. This is often called e-commerce. However, from the many advantages and benefits that are presented, buying and selling online is not suitable to support and have problems. The sale and purchase service through an electronic system that relies on this internet connection often takes breach of action by protecting the business for consumers. The research method used is a normative research method using secondary data sources which consists of data obtained from research - inventories, literature, journals, and research results that discuss the problems traced by the author. in online trading transactions (e-commerce). Breach that are usually carried out by companies are goods that do not match photos / images and descriptions uploaded by employers, goods not sent by employers, goods that protect, misleading promotions, and goods cannot be sent. The Breach taken by these business actors are very unsettling for consumers. So there are a Regulation Law No. 8 of 1999, Law No. 11 of 2008, Goverment Regulation No. 82 of 2012 and the Civil Code. However, the contents of these regulations are not really related to consumer protection against defaults of business actors in online trading transactions (e-commerce). For this reason, it is expected that in the future it will be based on the rules that apply to buyers against defaults of sellers in online trading transactions (e-commerce).
