Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan di Honda Royal Wiyung. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan Honda Royal Wiyung yang berjumlah 89 orang dan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan 26 karyawan yang berasal dari bagian teknisi dan bagian spare part, yang memiliki manajer yang sama. Metode pemilihan sampel menggunakan sampel kelompok (clustered random sampling) dengan teknik analisis yakni uji instrumen berupa uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas, model analisis (uji regresi linier berganda), uji model berupa uji F, serta uji hipotesis berupa uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Selain itu, motivasi juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sedangkan untuk variabel yang memiliki pengaruh paling dominan adalah gaya kepemimpinan. Kata Kunci : gaya kepemimpinan, motivasi, dan kinerja karyawan ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership style and motivation on employee performance at Honda Royal Wiyung. The population in this study were all employees of Honda Royal Wiyung, amounting to 89 people and the sampel used in this study were 26 employees who came from the technicians and spare parts, who had the same manager. The sampel selection method uses clustered random sampling with the analysis technique of the instrument test in the form of a validity and reliability test, an analysis model (multiple linier regression test), a test model in the form of F test, and a hypothesis test in the form of t test. The result showed that the leadership style had a significant effect on employee performance. In addition, motivation also has a significant effect on employee performance. Whereas the variable that has the most dominant influence is the leadership style. Keywords : leadership style, motivation, and employee performance
