Abstract

The objective of this paper was to find out whether to could implementations the procedure writing skill at junior high school students can be easier to write a procedure text because the teacher explains genre based approach step by step. Ga is the students and teacher build their understanding about text that discussed in the classroom. The writing skill is a part of language education which is very important to be improved. The procedure text is to inform and to direct someone on how to do something. The advantages of genre based approach in teaching writing is the students generally appreciate the models or examples showing specifically what they have to do, Allows students to become more flexible in their thinking and eventually to realize how authors organize their writings and Provide them with an understanding of why a communicate style is the way it is through a reflection of its social context and its purpose. Therefore, all implemented actions were successful the students’ procedure writig skill by using ganre based approach (GA).
