Abstract

In learning English, Writing is one of most important skill that should be mastered by students. But in fact, students are still less confident about their writing skills especially for students of senior high school. It is because Most of students still confused and afraid to make mistake and feel unconfident with what they write. The objective of this paper is to present teaching writing descriptive text using running dictation technique. The step to implement Running Dictaation teaching to be useful by the teacher. The teacher are putting the text on the wall, dividing students into groups, ask students to be writers and runners and ask students to take turn do be writers or runners. This technique can be used to be an alternative to teach writing. Keywords : Running Dictation, Technique, Descriptive Text
