Abstract

This study aims to know how big influence of variable independent agains variable dependent namely unit effort, the value of the production of and minimum wage against the employment in the industrial sector processing in East Java. This research uses purposive side data used are secondary data taken from relevant agencies in the form of time series data of the years 2010 – 2016 and the cross section of the 10 districts/cities with the objects of the industrial processing sector. Methods used to gauge this study is the panel data hypothesis trials using testing partial (t-test), simultan (f-test) and coefficient of determination (R²). this trials using multicollinearity, normality, heteroscedasticity, autocorrelation and normality. Test results it show that in with unit effort, the value of the production of and minimum wage influential on the employment with the level of the confidence of 0,98% of the rest influenced by other factors. Individually the value of production significantly influence the absorption of labor while business unit and UMK does not affect the absorption of labor by the industrial processing sector in East Java.
