Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan pengaruh pemberian vitamin C sintetik dan tepung buah jambu biji (Psidium guajava) pada gambaran histopatologi hepar tikus putih (Rattus novergicus) yang telah diinduksi dengan gentamisin. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian eksperimental laboratorium menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), mengggunakan hewan coba sebanyak 24 ekor tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus). Sampel yang digunakan adalah organ hati tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus) yang telah diberi perlakuan selama 14 hari. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat empat kelompok perlakuan yaitu kelompok P0 (kontrol), P1 (gentamisin), P2 (gentamisin+vitamin C), dan P3 (gentamisin+tepung buah jambu biji). Dari hasil skoring berdasarkan uji Kruskal-Wallis test diperoleh nilai Asym. Sig. P<0,05 yang berarti kelompok kontrol berbeda nyata terhadap kelompok perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat efek terapi tepung buah jambu biji (Psidium guajava) pada gambaran histopatologi hepar tikus putih (Rattus novergicus) yang telah diinduksi dengan gentamisin terhadap parameter infiltrasi sel radang. Selain itu terdapat pula efek terapi vitamin C sintetik pada gambaran histopatologi hepar tikus putih (Rattus novergicus) yang telah diinduksi dengan gentamisin terhadap parameter kongesti dan parameter infiltrasi sel radang. Kata Kunci: Tepung Jambu Biji (Psidium guajava), Vitamin C Sintetik, Tikus Putih (Rattus norvegicus) dan Gentamicin. ABSTRACT This study aimed to compare the effects of giving synthetic vitamin C and guava fruit flour (Psidium guajava) on the liver histopathology of white rats (Rattus novergicus) that have been induced with gentamicin. The type of research used was laboratory experimental research using a completely randomized design (CRD), using as many as 24 white rats (Rattus norvegicus). The sample used was the liver of white rats (Rattus norvegicus) which had been treated for 14 days. In this study there were four treatment groups, namely group P0 (control), P1 (gentamicin), P2 (gentamicin + vitamin C), and P3 (gentamicin + guava fruit flour). From the results of the scoring based on the Kruskal-Wallis test the Asym value was obtained. Sig. P <0.05, which means the control group was significantly different from the treatment group. The results showed that there was a therapeutic effect of guava fruit (Psidium guajava) on the liver histopathology of white rats (Rattus novergicus) which had been induced with gentamicin against inflammatory cell infiltration parameters. In addition, there is also the effect of synthetic vitamin C therapy on the liver histopathology of white rats (Rattus novergicus) which has been induced with gentamicin on vena congestion parameters and inflammatory cell infiltration parameters.
