Abstract
EFEKTIVITAS AIR PERASAN BUAH LEMON (Citrus limon L.) Terhadap Kematian Nyamuk Culex quenquefasciatus Say Yosefi Yuanita Kekang ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas air perasan buah lemon (Citrus limon L.) terhadap kematian nyamuk Culex quenquefasciatus Say. Hewan coba yang digunakan adalah nyamuk Culex quenquefasciatus Say berjumlah 625 ekor. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap dengan 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan tersebut adalah P01 = perlakuan dengan transflutrin, P02 = perlakuan dengan aquades, P1 = perlakuan dengan ekstrak buah lemon 10%, P2 = perlakuan dengan ekstrak buah lemon 20%, P3 = perlakuan dengan ekstrak buah lemon 30%. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan Uji one way ANOVA dan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Duncan 5%. Hasil perhitungan one way ANOVA menunjukan nilai F hitung (α = 0,05) jauh lebih besar (127,70) daripada F tabel (0,05) (3,27) artinya terdapat perbedaan efektivitas dari masing-masing perlakuan. Hasil uji Duncan membuktikan larutan 30% air perasan buah lemon mempunyai efektifitas lebih tinggi daripada larutan 20% maupun 10% perasan buah lemon, tetapi lebih rendah daripada perlakuan larutan transflutrin. Kata Kunci : Culex quenquefasciatus Say, ekstrak buah lemon, kematian nyamuk EFFECTIVENESS OF LEMON JUICE EXTRACT (Citrus limon L.) IN THE MORTALITY OF Culex quenquefasciatus Say Yosefi Yuanita Kekang ABSTRACT This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of lemon juice extract (Citrus limon L.) in causing the mortality of Culex quenquefasciatus Say. The mosquitos used in this study were 625 Culex quenquefasciatus Say. The research was designed as a full-randomized design with five treatments and five repetitions each. Those five treatment groups were P01 = transfluthrin, P02 = aquadest, P1 = 10% lemon juice extract, P2 = 20% lemon juice extract, P3 = 30% lemon juice extract. The data obtained were analyzed by one-way ANOVA test and continued with 5% Duncan Test. The result of the one-way ANOVA calculation shows that F statistic value (α = 0,05) is greater (127,70) than F table value (0,05) (3,27). Thus, there are differences significance of effectiveness from each treatment groups. The result of Duncan Test proved that the 30% lemon juice extract has higher effectiveness compared to 20% and 10% lemon juice extract, but lower than the treatment with transfluthrin.
