Abstract

KAJIAN PEMBERIAN EKSTRAK RUMPUT GAJAH MINI (PENNISETUM PURPUREUM CV.MOTT) TERHADAP JUMLAH ERITROSIT, PERUBAHAN BERAT BADAN, DAN HEMOGLOBIN PADA MENCIT (MUS MUSCULUS) Deby Agung Pratama ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perubahan berat badan, jumlah eritrosit, dan hemoglobin pada mencit (Mus musculus) dengan pemberian ekstrak rumput gajah mini (Pennisetum purpureum cv.Mott). Jenis penelitian ini penelitian eksperimental dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan yaitu P0 sebagai control, P1 dengan ekstrak rumput gajah mini konsentrasi 20%, P2 dengan ekstrak rumput gajah mini konsentrasi 40%, dan P3 dengan ekstrak rumput gajah mini konsentrasi 100%. Rumput gajah mini diperoleh dari daerah Banyuwangi. Setiap perlakuan menggunakan 6 ekor mencit (Mus Musculus) jantan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan Uji One Way ANOVA yang dilanjutkan dengan Uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang nyata pada perubahan berat badan mencit (Mus Musculus) antar perlakuan (P<0,05), dalam jumlah eritrosit tidak terdapat perbedaan yang nyata antar perlakuan (P>0,05), dan dalam jumlah hemoglobin menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan yang nyata antar perlakuan (P>0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian adalah pemberian ekstrak rumput gajah mini mempengaruhi perubahan berat badan mencit (Mus Musculus) dan tidak mempengaruhi jumlah eritrosit dah jumlah hemoglobin Mencit (Mus Musculus). STUDY OF GIVING MINI ELEPHANT GRASS EXTRACT (Pennisetum Purpureum cv.Mott) TO THE NUMBER OF ERITROSITS, CHANGES IN BODY WEIGHT, AND HEMOGLOBIN IN MICE (Mus Musculus) Deby Agung Pratama ABSTRACT This study aimed to analyze changes in body weight, the number of erythrocytes, and hemoglobin in mice (Mus Musculus) by giving mini elephant grass extract (Pennisetum Purpureum cv.Mott). This type of research were experimental research. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments, namely P0 as control, P1 with mini elephant grass extract concentration of 20%, P2 with mini elephant grass extract concentration of 40%, and P3 with mini elephant grass extract concentration of 100%. Mini elephant grass were more obtained from the Banyuwangi area. Each treatment used 6 male mice (Mus Musculus). The data obtained were analyzed by One Way ANOVA Test followed by Duncan Test. The results showed that there were significant differences in changes in body weight of mice (Mus Musculus) between treatment (P <0.05), in the number of erythrocytes there was no significant difference between treatments (P> 0.05), and in the amount of hemoglobin showed no there were significant differences between treatments (P> 0.05). The conclusion of the study was the administration of mini elephant grass extract affected changes in body weight of mice (Mus Musculus) and did not affect the number of erythrocytes and the hemoglobin number of Mice (Mus Musculus).
