Keywords: Morphology, Word Formation Process, Breaking Dawn Words are one of the essential tools individuals use to communicate. As human involved in the field of communication sciences and disorders, and know how important words in language to communicate with others. Humans are creative. Nowadays, in discussing people usually use new words, for example by combining the original words with other words so that it becomes a new word with through the process. The process of forming a new word itself is called the word formation process.Word-formation is the study of words, dealing with the construction or formation rules of words in a certain language. Any kind of word formation process above can be found in written and spoken language in English such as novels, or films. In this research paper is aimed to investigate word formation process used in “Breaking Dawn" movie script by Melissa Rosenberg. This research paper uses George Yule (2006) theory about word formation process. Then, the methodology of this research is applying qualitative research method to reveal types of word formation processes that found in dialogue in Breaking Dawn movie script. The result of this study the writer found nine types of word formation processes from twelve types of word formation classified according to George Yule's theory. The types of word formation processes are coinage, borrowing, compounding, blending, clipping, acronym, conversion, derivation, multiple processes.The writer found 50 data of words/terms thatconcluded in the types of word formation process.The most common word or terms was compounding, there are 16 words/terms that were found. The second rank is derivational with 12 words/terms. And for the other types of word formation which occupying the next position after compounding and derivationalis borrowing with 6 words/terms. The fourth is clipping with 6 words/terms. Fifth is coinage there are 4 data found of words/terms. Sixth is blending, there are 2 data found, Seventh is multiple process with 2 data. Next, is from acronym with only 1 data and the last is conversion with 1 data
