Abstract

ABSTRAK I Putu Bagas Ananda. 2018. Pengaruh Pemberian Madu Dibandingkan Lidah Buaya (Aloe Vera) Terhadap Kecepatan Proses Penyembuhan Luka Bakar Pada Tikus Putih (Rattus Norvegicus). Fakultas Kedokteran. Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya. Latar Belakang : Luka bakar mengakibatkan tidak hanya kerusakan pada kulit, tetapi juga memengaruhi seluruh sistem tubuh. Tindakan yang sering dilakukan pada luka bakar adalah dengan memberikan terapi lokal, beberapa diantaranya menggunakan obat herbal. Tujuan Penelitian : Untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pemberian Madu dibandingkan Lidah Buaya (Aloe vera) terhadap kecepatan proses penyembuhan luka bakar pada tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus). Metode Penelitian : Populasi dari penelitian ini menggunakan tikus putih jantan (Rattus norvegicus) galur wistar umur 2-3 bulan berat 150-200 gram dengan jumlah 25 ekor tikus putih sebagai sampel. Variabel bebas pada penelitian ini adalah madu dan Aloe vera sedangkan variabel tergantungnya adalah penyembuhan luka bakar dilihat secara makroskopik yaitu dengan melihat diameter luka bakar. Analisis data penelitian ini diuji dengan uji One Way ANOVA. Hasil Penelitian : Hasil pengujian statistik dengan menggunakan uji one way ANOVA menunjukkan p-value = 0,041 yaitu < α (0.05) maka ada perbedaan pengaruh pemberian madu dibandingkan lidah buaya (Aloe vera) terhadap kecepatan proses penyembuhan luka bakar pada tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus). Simpulan Penelitian : Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa pemberian Madu dan Lidah Buaya (Aloe vera) serta campuran madu dan Aloe vera mampu mempercepat proses penyembuhan luka bakar pada tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus). Effect of Honey Giving Compared to Aloe Vera on the Speed of Healing Process of Burns in White Rats (Rattus Norvegicus). Faculty Of Medicine. Wijaya Kusuma University Surabaya. Background : Burns cause not only damage to the skin, but also affect the entire body system. The actions that are often performed on burns are by providing local therapy, some of which use herbal remedies. Purpose : To find out how the effect of honey compared to Aloe vera on the speed of the healing process of burns in white rats (Rattus norvegicus). Methods : The population of this study used male white rats (Rattus norvegicus) wistar strains aged 2-3 months weighing 150-200 grams with a total of 25 white rats as samples. The independent variable in this study is honey and Aloe vera while the dependent variable is healing burns seen macroscopically by looking at the diameter of the burn. Data analysis of this study was tested by One Way ANOVA test. Result : Statistical test results using the one way ANOVA test showed p-value = 0.041 which is <α (0.05) so there is a difference in the effect of giving honey compared to Aloe vera on the speed of the healing process of burns in white rats (Rattus norvegicus). Conclusion : Based on the results of the study concluded that the administration of Honey and Aloe vera and a mixture of honey and Aloe vera can accelerate the healing process of burns in white rats (Rattus norvegicus).
