Abstract

EFFECT OF EXTRACT of LEAVES COUNTRY BORAGE (Coleus amboinicus) AGAINST A PICTURE of WHITE RAT RENAL HISTOPATOLOGY (Rattus norvegicus) CISPLATIN INDUCED by PERIODIC ACID-SCHIFF (PAS) Eka Rista Efrem Burga ABSTRAC Knowing the influence of cisplatin induced and influence the granting of leaf extracts country borage (Coleus amboinicus) against a picture of white rat renal histopathology (Rattus norvegicus). Animal experiments are mice. The design used was random complete design with three treatments and six times of Deuteronomy. A third treatments are P0 (control), P1 (7mg/cisplatin induced kgBB) and P2 (given country borage-leaf extract 100 mg/kgBB and on the fourth day 7mg/cisplatin induced kgBB). The data obtained were analyzed using kruskal wallis test showed meaningful differences on a whole group with a value of p < 0.05. Then proceed with the test mann whitney test provide a meaningful difference for degenerative damage on the group with P0 P1 (P = 0.002), in a group with P0 P2 (P = 0,021) and in group P1 with P2 (P = 0.005). With regard to the changes of necrosis on the group with P0 P1 (P = 0.002), a group with P0 P2 (P = 0.002) and in group P1 with P2 (P = 0.003). While the glomerulus infiltration group P0 with P1 (P = 0.001), a group with P0 P2 (P = 0.002). While the results of the Mann whitney test that does not mean a change of necrosis on the group P1 with P2 (P = 0,489). Administering cisplatin induction and leaf extract country borage (Coleus amboinicus) on the image of the white rat renal histopathology induced by cisplatin staining Periodic Acid Schiff (PAS) gives significant influence. keywords: Histopathology, Country borage, Cisplatin
