Abstract

Colibacillosis disebabkan oleh bakteri Escherichia coli. Prevalensi dari Escherichia coli pada anak sapi di Indonesia dengan jumlah 20- 31% nemiliki angka mortalitas 65-85%. Escherichia coli umumnya ialah flora normal yang berada pada usus halus pada hewan dan manusia. Escherichia coli tersebut akan menjadi patogen apabila perkembangannya melebihi batas normal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini ialah penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran tentang penanganan kasus Colibacillosis pada sapi di Desa Tatung Kecamatan Balong, Kabupaten Ponorogo. pada tanggal 5-8 November 2025 dengan kronologi kasus pedet dengan penurunan nafsu makan dan minum, feses encer, lesu, bulu kusam, sering berbaring, pakan yang diberikan rumput hijauan dan jerami, sudah diberi obat cacing Wormzol 1 bulan lalu. Berdasarkan hasil anamnesa dan pemeriksaan fisik pada ternak, maka sapi milik Pak Sugeng mengalami Colibacillosis. Pedet dengan suspect Colibacillosis diberikan terapi Injeksi Colibact, Injeksi Vitamin B Complex, Sulpidon, dan Vetadryl. Colibact mengandung Sulfadiazine dan Trimethoprim.
