Abstract

Bovine Ephemeral Fever (BEF) adalah penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus RNA, yang di tularkan oleh nyamuk, atau biasa di sebut dengan demam tiga hari, penyakit ini dapat menyerang pada sapi dan kerbau. Sering terjadi di perdesaan, sapi tiba – tiba tidak nafsu makan dan minum, sapi mengalami demam, pincang terkadang sampai ambruk. Tujuan dari tugas akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa tingkat kejadian BEF di Kecamatan Poncol Kabupaten Magetan dari bulan Januari sampai bulan Desember 2025. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode penelitian gabungan antara metode penelitian kuantitatif dan penelitian kualitatif. Data yang digunakan didapatkan dari Dinas Peternakan dan Perikanan Kabupaten Magetan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pengamatan ini yaitu tingkat kasus BEF di Kecamatan Poncol Kabupaten Magetan pada bulan Januari hingga bulan Desember pada tahun 2025 mencapai 266 kasus. Faktor BEF yang paling sering mempengaruhi yaitu faktor cuaca.
