Abstract

This research aims to test and analyze the influence of Fintech Payment, Financial Self-Efficacy, and Academic Ability on Financial Management of Undergraduate Accounting Students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Wijaya Kusuma University, Surabaya. This study uses primary data by distributing questionnaires as data collection material. The method used is quantitative, with the measurement using a Likert scale. The population in this study are active undergraduate students of the Accounting study program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Wijaya Kusuma University, Surabaya, Class of 2022 and 2023, provided they have taken financial management courses. The sampling technique used a saturated sampling (census) of 128 respondents. Data analysis techniques used include: descriptive statistical tests, data quality tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression tests, and hypothesis testing using the SPSS Statistics program version 23. Based on the research results, it can be partially determined that the variables of financial self-efficacy and academic ability have a positive effect on financial management among undergraduate accounting students at Wijaya Kusuma University, Surabaya. Meanwhile, the fintech payment variable has no effect on financial management among undergraduate accounting students at Wijaya Kusuma University, Surabaya. All independent variables in this study simultaneously influence the dependent variable. Keywords: Fintech Payment, Financial Self-Efficacy, Academic Ability, Financial Management.
