Abstract

ABSTRAK Yuwono, Rafi A. 2025. Gambaran Endoskopi pada Pasien Perdarahan Saluran Cerna Atas di RSUD Raden Tumenggung Notopuro Sidoarjo pada Tahun 2023-2024. Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Dokter, Fakultas Kedokteran, Universitas Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya. Pembimbing: 〖Herni Suprapti〗^2 Latar belakang: Perdarahan saluran cerna atas (PSCA) merupakan salah satu kasus gawat darurat yang sering dijumpai di layanan kesehatan, dengan manifestasi klinis utama berupa hematemesis dan melena. Pemeriksaan endoskopi menjadi metode utama dalam menegakkan diagnosis dan membantu menentukan tata laksana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran jenis kelamin, usia, manifestasi klinis, dan hasil pemeriksaan endoskopi pada pasien PSCA di RSUD Raden Tumenggung Notopuro Sidoarjo tahun 2023–2024. Bahan dan Metode: Penelitian ini adalah studi deskriptif observasional retrospektif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Studi ini dilakukan selama 3 bulan, dari Maret 2025 hingga Mei 2025. Semua pasien berusia ≥ 18 tahun yang mengalami hematemesis dan/atau melena diikutsertakan dalam studi ini. Semua pasien yang diikutsertakan memiliki data rekam medis yang lengkap, meliputi jenis kelamin, usia, manifestasi klinis, dan hasil pemeriksaan endoskopi. Hasil: 144 pasien diikutsertakan dalam penelitian ini. Dari 144 pasien, 54,2% adalah berjenis kelamin laki-laki. Kelompok usia yang paling umum adalah 51–60 tahun, dengan kontribusi sebesar 29,9%. Manifestasi klinis yang paling umum adalah melena, dengan kontibusi sebesar 55,6%, dan diagnosis terbanyak pada hasil pemeriksaan endoskopi adalah gastritis, dengan kontribusi sebesar 52,8%. Kesimpulan: Pasien dengan gejala hematemesis dan/atau melena yang menjalani pemeriksaan endoskopi sebagian besar berusia 51-60 tahun, berjenis kelamin laki-laki, memiliki manifestasi klinis berupa melena, dan gambaran hasil pemeriksaan endoskopi didominasi oleh gastritis. Supervisor: 〖Herni Suprapti〗^2 Background: Upper gastrointestinal bleeding (UGB) is one of the most common emergencies in healthcare, with the main clinical manifestations being hematemesis and melena. Endoscopic examination is the main method in establishing the diagnosis and helping to determine the management. This study aims to find out the description of gender, age, clinical manifestations, and endoscopic examination results in UGB patients at Raden Tumenggung Notopuro Sidoarjo Hospital in 2023–2024. Materials and Methods: This study is a retrospective observational descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach. The study was conducted for 3 months, from March 2025 to May 2025. All patients aged ≥ 18 years who experienced hematemesis and/or melena were included in this study. All patients included had complete medical record data, including gender, age, clinical manifestations, and endoscopic examination results. Results: 144 patients were included in the study. Of the 144 patients, 54.2% were male. The most common age group was 51–60 years, with a contribution of 29.9%. The most common clinical manifestation was melena, with a contribution of 55.6%, and the most common diagnosis on endoscopic examination results was gastritis, with a contribution of 52.8%. Conclusions: Patients with symptoms of hematemesis and/or melena who underwent endoscopic examination were mostly 51-60 years old, male, had clinical manifestations in the form of melena, and the picture of endoscopic examination results was dominated by gastritis.
