Abstract

ABSTRAK Usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung perekonomian nasional, termasuk industri pangan tradisional seperti tempe. Namun, keberlanjutan usaha tempe menghadapi berbagai tantangan, antara lain fluktuasi harga bahan baku kedelai, keterbatasan modal, serta persaingan pasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan usaha tempe pada CV Adnik Jombang ditinjau dari aspek finansial dan nonfinansial serta merumuskan strategi peningkatan keberlanjutan usaha. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Kuantitaf Deskriptif, untuk analisis kelayakan finansial dan untuk analisis kelayakan nonfinansial. Hasil analisis kelayakan finansial menunjukkan bahwa usaha tempe CV Adnik Jombang layak untuk dijalankan. Berdasarkan perhitungan dengan tingkat diskonto 13%, diperoleh nilai Net Present Value (NPV) sebesar Rp. 748.678.514 (NPV > 0), nilai Internal Rate of Return (IRR) sebesar 294% yang lebih besar dari tingkat suku bunga yang berlaku, serta nilai Net B/C Ratio 7,24 dan Gross B/C Rasio 1,79 yang masing-masing lebih besar dari 1. Periode pengembalian modal (Payback Period) tergolong cepat yaitu 4 bulan 6 hari, yaitu kurang dari satu tahun, dan volume produksi usaha telah melampaui titik impas (Break Even Point/BEP), sehingga usaha mampu menghasilkan keuntungan. Sementara itu, hasil analisis kelayakan nonfinansial yang meliputi aspek pasar, teknis, manajemen, hukum, dan lingkungan menunjukkan bahwa usaha tempe CV Adnik Jombang berada pada kategori sangat layak berdasarkan penilaian menggunakan skala Likert. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut, strategi pengembangan usaha yang direkomendasikan meliputi peningkatan efisiensi biaya produksi, penguatan manajemen dan pencatatan keuangan, optimalisasi pemasaran, serta pengelolaan lingkungan usaha yang lebih berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, usaha tempe CV Adnik Jombang dinilai layak untuk dipertahankan dan dikembangkan guna meningkatkan keberlanjutan usaha di masa mendatang. Kata Kunci :Studi kelayakan usaha, kelayakan finansial, kelayakan nonfinansial, tempe, UMKM. ================================================================ ABSTRACT Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in supporting the national economy, including traditional food industries such as tempeh. However, the sustainability of tempeh businesses faces various challenges, including fluctuations in soybean raw material prices, limited capital, and market competition. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of the tempe business at CV Adnik Jombang from financial and non-financial aspects and to formulate strategies for improving business sustainability. The research method employed is a descriptive quantitative method for analyzing financial feasibility and non-financial feasibility. The results of the financial feasibility analysis indicate that the tempeh business at CV Adnik Jombang is feasible to operate. Based on calculations using a 13% discount rate, the Net Present Value (NPV) is Rp748,678,514 (NPV > 0), the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is 294%, which is higher than the prevailing interest rate, the Net B/C Ratio is 7.24, and the Gross B/C Ratio is 1.79, both of which are greater than one. The Payback Period is relatively fast, at 4 months and 6 days, which is less than one year, and the production volume has exceeded the Break Even Point (BEP), indicating that the business is able to generate profits. Meanwhile, the results of the non-financial feasibility analysis covering market, technical, management, legal, and environmental aspects show that the tempeh business at CV Adnik Jombang falls into the highly feasible category based on assessments using the Likert scale. Based on these findings, the recommended business development strategies include improving production cost efficiency, strengthening management and financial record-keeping, optimizing marketing strategies, and implementing more sustainable environmental management practices. Therefore, the tempeh business at CV Adnik Jombang is considered feasible to be maintained and further developed to enhance business sustainability in the future.
