Abstract

Anemia merupakan masalah kesehatan global dengan prevalensi tinggi, terutama pada remaja dan wanita usia subur. Salah satu faktor yang diduga memengaruhi kadar hemoglobin adalah kebiasaan konsumsi teh, karena kandungan tanin di dalamnya dapat menghambat penyerapan zat besi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan kebiasaan konsumsi teh dengan kadar hemoglobin pada penderita anemia di Puskesmas Dukuh Kupang Surabaya. Penelitian menggunakan desain observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional terhadap 30 responden berusia 17–50 tahun yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner mengenai kebiasaan konsumsi teh, asupan zat besi, serta gejala anemia, sementara kadar hemoglobin diukur menggunakan hemoglobin meter. Hasil analisis Spearman menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara konsumsi teh dengan kadar hemoglobin (p=0,936). Namun, ditemukan hubungan signifikan antara asupan zat besi dengan kadar hemoglobin (p=0,044) dan antara jenis anemia dengan gejala klinis (p=0,009). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa faktor utama yang memengaruhi kadar hemoglobin pada responden adalah asupan zat besi, sedangkan kebiasaan konsumsi teh tidak terbukti berpengaruh signifikan.
