Abstract
English is one of the subjects that must be given to students. There are four skills namely reading, listening, speaking, and writing in English. Reading is one of the most important English language abilities in the teaching and learning process. This study aimed to find out The Use of Wordwall.Net To Improve Reading Comprehension of First Grade Students at Senior High School of Hang Tuah 1 Surabaya. This study used Classroom Action Research (CAR) process in 2 cycles and started with pre-cycle The subjects of this study were 33 students from the first grade or E.4 phase. This study used research instrument of observation checklist and reading comprehension test. The researcher used both qualitative and quantitative data with data collection procedures through interview, students score, reading comprehension test, and observation. The study showed the percentage improvement of students who passed the reading comprehension test from 12,1% to 84,8% in cycle 2. Proves that there is an improve in students' understanding of descriptive texts and this can be seen from their scores. Using wordwall.net also the right learning media for them in the learning process. Based on these results, the researcher concluded that using wordwall.net improve reading comprehension of first grade students at Senior High School of Hang Tuah 1 Surabaya.
