Abstract

Penelitian tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis serta mengetahui prevalensi Bloat pada sapi Madura di Puskeswan Jrengik Kabupaten Sampang Tahun 2024. Metode yang digunakan adalah berupa analisis data dengan cara deskriptif dan ditabulasikan hasil, kemudian didapatkan bahwa tingkat prevalensi kasus bloat cukup kecil yaitu sebesar 0,11 %. Penanganan yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi kasus bloat di lapangan dapat berupa tindakan per oral dan proses injeksi obat seperti obat antiradang, antibiotik dan vitamin. Pencegahan bloat dapat dilakukan dengan memperbaiki manajemen pakan melalui pemilihan pakan hijauan yang tidak menyebabkan bloat atau tidak mudah terfermentasi misalnya legum yang mengandung tanin tinggi dan rumput-rumputan. Hijauan yang diberikan dipastikan sudah terbebas dari embun pagi atau sudah dilayukan. Kata kunci : Bloat, Prevalensi. Sapi Madura, Sampang, 2024.
