Abstract

Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis L.) is an aromatic herbaceous plant that has benefits for treating various hair problems, but its production often experiences obstacles due to inappropriate seed propagation and fertilization methods. This study aims to determine the response of goat manure fertilizer, leri POC with shallot skin, and a combination of both on the growth of rosemary stem cuttings (Rosmarinus officinalis L.). This study is an experimental research type using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors, namely goat manure fertilizer 0 mL/polybag, 250 mL/polybag, 500 mL/polybag and leri POC with shallot skin 0 mL/L, 250 mL/L, 300 mL/L. The parameters observed were the percentage of living cuttings, plant height, number of shoots, root length, and number of roots. The observation data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued with the smallest significant difference test (LSD) at the 5% level. The results of the study showed that the single administration of goat manure and POC leri with shallot skin had no significant effect on the percentage of living cuttings, but had a significant effect on the parameters of plant height, number of shoots, root length, and number of roots. Meanwhile, the combination treatment of goat manure and POC leri with shallot skin had no significant effect on the percentage of living cuttings and plant height, but had a significant effect on the parameters of the number of shoots, root length and number of roots of rosemary plant cuttings. The best single treatment of goat manure fertilizer was at 500 mL/polybag (P2) and the best single treatment of POC leri with shallot skin was 300 mL/L (B2). While the best combination treatment was at the treatment of goat manure fertilizer 500 mL/polybag and POC leri with shallot skin 300 mL/L (P2B2)
