Abstract
Renmaur, Dilisio. 2024. The Effect of Using Mobile-based Information Technology on Increasing the Attendance of Toddlers and Parents for Immunization at the Wasior Community Health Center. Thesis, Medical Education Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Wijaya Kusuma University Surabaya. Supervisor: Dr. Wike Herawaty, drg,. M. Kes ; Dr. Mira Kusuma Wardhani, Sp.OG. Introduction: Increasing immunization for children can be done in many ways, one of which is through the use of technology as an approach. The use of technology in intervention shows positive results in terms of increasing time compliance with immunization. This research aims to find out whether the use of information technology is effective in increasing the attendance of toddlers and parents for immunization at Community Health Centers. Research Method: This research uses an observational analytical research design with a cross sectional approach. The data collection technique is through a questionnaire which will be distributed directly to all parents with babies aged 0-18 months who are immunized at the Wasior Community Health Center. Research Results: The research results show that the majority of respondents who use technology quite well have poor immunization, namely 9 (18%) respondents. On the other hand, the majority of respondents with good knowledge had good immunization attendance, namely 14 (28%) respondents. The results of statistical tests with chi-square obtained a p-value of 0.014. In line with these findings, the results of statistical tests using Fisher's exact obtained a p-value of 0.008. Conclusion: it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the use of cellular-based information technology and increased immunization attendance. Keywords: Use of Cellular-based Information Technology, Immunization
