Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh insektisida alami daun Serai Wangi (Cymbopogon nardus) terhadap lalat rumah (Musca domestica) dan sebagai alternatif lain Zdari insektisida berbahankan kimia. Lalat rumah yang digunakan sebanyak 240 ekor. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah rancangan acak kelompok dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Keenam perlakuan tersebut adalah P0 sebagai kontrol negatif (diberikan 100% aquadest), P1 (pemberian 20% perasan daun serai atau 20 ml perasan daun serai dan dilarutkan dalam 80 ml aquadest), P2 (pemberian 40% perasan daun serai atau 40 ml hasil perasan dan ditambahkan 60 ml aquadest), P3 (Pemberian 60% perasan daun serai atau 60 ml hasil perasan dan ditambahkan 40 ml aquadest), P4 (pemberian 80% perasan daun serai atau 80 ml hasil perasan dan ditambahkan 20 ml aquadest), P5 (pemberian 100% perasan daun serai atau 100 ml hasil perasan). Lalat (Musca domestica) tersebut diamati 1 jam. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan Uji One Way ANOVA. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa perasaan daun serai berpengaruh kuat terhadap kematian lalat rumah, P3 dengan konsentrasi 60% menunjukkan hasil yang berbeda nyata dibandingkan dengan P1 maupun P2. Adapun perasaan daun serai yang paling efektif dalam membunuh lalat Musca domestica ialah pada P4 dan P5 dengan konsentrasi 80% dan 100%. Kata Kunci : Daun serai, Lalat, Musca domestica ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of natural insecticides of Citronella leaves (Cymbopogon nardus) on houseflies (Musca domestica) and as an alternative to chemical insecticides. The houseflies used were 240. The design used in this study was a group randomized design with 6 treatments and 4 replicates. The six treatments were P0 as a negative control (given 100% distilled water), P1 (giving 20% lemongrass leaf juice or 20 ml of lemongrass leaf juice and dissolved in 80 ml of distilled water), P2 (giving 40% lemongrass leaf juice or 40 ml of juice and added 60 ml of distilled water), P3 (giving 60% lemongrass leaf juice or 60 ml of juice and added 40 ml of distilled water), P4 (giving 80% lemongrass leaf juice or 80 ml of juice and added 20 ml of distilled water), P5 (giving 100% lemongrass leaf juice or 100 ml of juice). The flies (Musca domestica) were observed for 1 hour. The data obtained were analyzed using One Way ANOVA test. The results showed that the feeling of lemongrass leaves had a strong effect on the death of houseflies, P3 with a concentration of 60% showed significantly different results compared to P1 and P2. The feeling of lemongrass leaves that is most effective in killing Musca Domestica flies is in P4 and P5 with concentrations of 80% and 100%. Keywords: Lemongrass leaves, Flies, Musca domestica
