Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mengidentifikasi kasus penyakit Bovine Ephemeral Fever (BEF), serta cara penanganannya pada sapi potong di Puskeswan Bantaran kabupaten probolinggo Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pengambilan data observasi melalui kasus sekunder penyakit Bovine Ephemeral Fever (BEF) pada sapi potong tahun 2023, laporan tahunan kasus penyakit hewan di Puskeswan Bantaran Kabupaten Probolinggo. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa tingkat prevalensi penyakit Bovine Ephemeral Fever (BEF) sebanyak 20,7 %, dari populasi 4000 ekor,dengan menyebarkan data penyakit Bovine Ephemeral Fever (BEF) di empat Kecamatan di antaranya, kecamatan leces, kecamatan bantaran , kecamatan kuripan , kecamatan sumber, menunjukkan tingkat kejadian yang tinggi yaitu kecamatan bantaran dan kecamatan sumber, karena secara geografis merupakan dataran rendah di kecamatan bantaran ,dataran tinggi di kecamatan sumber .
