Abstract

This study examines the effect of leverage and profitability on stock price with firm value as an intervening variable. The population of this study is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2023 The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique. The analysis method used is path analysis using the SmartPLS 4 program. The results show that leverage has no effect on firm value. Profitability has a positive effect on firm value. Leverage has a negative effect on stock price. Profitability has no effect on stock price. Firm value has a positive effect stock price. Firm value cannot mediate leverage with stock price. Firm value can mediate profitability with stock price.
