Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui toksisitas akut fermentasi buah berenuk (Crescentia cujete L.) terhadap indeks eritrosit tikus putih Sprague dawley. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah eksperimental dengan menggunakan tikus putih Sprague dawley jantan sebanyak 20 ekor dibagi 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Kelompok perlakuan tersebut adalah P1: sebagai kontrol, P2: pemberian fermentasi buah berenuk dosis 50 mg/kg BB, P3: pemberian fermentasi buah berenuk dosis 500 mg/kg BB, P3: fermentasi buah berenuk dosis 5000 mg/kg BB selama 14 hari menggunakan sonde oral. Pada hari ke-15 tikus diambil darahnya melalui vena cavum orbita, kemudian dilakukan pemeriksaan indeks eritrosit. Data yang diperoleh diuji dengan ANOVA, hasil analisis menunjukkan tidak signifikan yang bermakna (p>0,05). Kesimpulan yang diterima yaitu tidak ada efek toksisitas yang ditimbulkan pada fermentasi buah berenuk (Crescentia cujete L.) terhadap indeks eritrosit tikus putih Sprague dawley The aim of this study was to determine the toxicity of aquatic fermented berenuk fruit (Crescentia cujete L.) on the erythrocyte index of white Sprague Dawley rats. The type of research carried out was experimental using 24 male white Sprague Dawley rats divided into 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatment groups were P1: as control, P2: fermented berenuk fruit administered at a dose of 50 mg/kg BW, P3: fermented berenuk fruit administered at a dose of 500 mg/kg BW, P3: fermented berenuk fruit at a dose of 5000 mg/kg BW for 14 days using heard verbally. On the 15th day, blood was taken from the mice via the orbital vein, then the erythrocyte index was examined. The data obtained was tested using ANOVA, the results of the analysis showed that there were no significant differences (p>0.05). The conclusion received is that there is no toxicity effect caused by the fermentation of berenuk fruit (Crescentia cujete L.) on the erythrocyte index of white Sprague Dawley rats.
