Abstract
Kata kunci: produksi massal, sampah perkotaan, kompos, starter, EM4, Urea ========================================================== The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of starter concentration and the comparison of leaf litter with market waste in bulk as well to find out the comparison of market waste and stater the most optimal on composting bulk. In this research using Completely Randomized Design with two factors. Factor 1: Type of starter Composting process, G1: Given EM4 3 liters of solution with concentration of 0.2 / unit experiment plus urea 1 kg / unit experiment; G2: Given EM4 3 liters of solution with concentration of 0.1 / unit experiment plus urea 2 kg / unit experiment. Factor II: comparison between market waste and leaf waste, K1: 0 percent market waste, 100 percent leaf waste; K2: 20 percent of market waste, 80 percent leaf waste; K3: 40 percent market waste, 60 percent leaf waste; K4: 60 percent of market waste, 40 percent leaf waste. The results can be concluded: (1) There is an interaction between starter concentration and leaf garbage composition with market waste at G2K3 treatment (Given EM4 3 liters solution with concentration 0.1 / unit experiment plus urea 2 kg / unit experiment) + (40% market waste, 60 percent dry waste litter) on observed parameter of decrease in volume, and C / N Ratio; ; (2) At the last of the observation, there is an interaction between K3G2, K4G2 the volume decrease reaches 61-63% which is significantly different from the others; (3) After 9 weeks of combined treatment of K1G1, K4G1, K3G2, the compost produced has a C / N ratio of 19.12-19.03 which is already eligible. Keywords: production bulk, municipal waste, compost, starter, EM4, Urea
