Abstract

English Education is a subject that must be included in the curriculum of every formal educational institution in Indonesia. This is because learning English is one dimension of life that can help in life in the future. The concept of education according to Ki Hajar Dewantara (2014), is a demand in the process of growth and development of children's lives so that they can achieve their potential as well as possible. Education is the process of changing the attitude and behavior of a person or group in an effort to mature humans through teaching and training Imamah, Ma’ruf (2018 ). With that it come to fruition and it will help the future life of the student in whether it will help for their work or their daily life. This paper discusses about listening procedure teaching at junior Highschool using listening team method. The listening team is a cooperative learning model that is carried out in four groups that have their respective roles, which can make students active and will be able to make them cohesive in their team. By using listening tea it is expected that students will be able to comprehend / understand oral text easily
