Abstract

The objective of the study is to describe the proses of using Three Level Guide Stategy To Improve The Eleventh Science Grade Reading Comprehension of Narrative Text In Sma Al Mizan Surabaya. The subject of this research which consisted of 25 students. The research design uses CAR (classroom action research). In this research, the researcher used qualitative and quantitative data to see the improvement reading comprehension of the students. The data is obtained by giving reading test in each cycle. The instruments of this research were observation sheet and reading test. The process of the research took place for two cycle. Students could follow teaching learning proses well. They could show the interst in the learning. Based on the result of test, the students who passed the standart score improved from 32% in the preliminary data to 80% at the end of the research. Based on the analysis the researcher concludes that’s students oh 11th science grade in SMA Al – Mizan Surabaya can improve their reading comprehension through Three Level Strategy Reading Comprehension, Narrative Text, Three Level Strategy.
