Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership and motivation on employee performance of the production of PT. Sinar Mulia Box Gresik. This study uses the leadership and motivation of independent variables (free), while performance as a dependent variable (bound). This study aims to determine the influence of leadership and motivation on performance. Data analysis in this study using SPSS Version 21 assistance. Samples used are employees of PT. Sinar Mulia Box Gresik where the number of samples in this study were 30 respondents by using purposive sampling method. In the test individually / partially obtained those two variables that have a significant influence on employee performance (Y) for leadership variables (X1) has a significance value of 0.004 (<0.05). While for the variable of motivation (X2) also have a significant effect to employee performance variable (Y) this matter can be seen from significance for motivation equal to 0.000 (<0.05). The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression technique with regression equation as follows Y = 0.076 + 0,435.X1 + 0,555.X2. The result of analysis based on F test conducted shows that the variable of leadership and motivation together have positive significant influence to the performance variable. So also based on t test shows that leadership and motivation partially each positive effect on the performance of employees / staff with the most dominant variable influential is the variable of motivation.
