Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how much service quality affects the intention to move (switching intention) of students using boarding houses in Jatimulyo Malang with the satisfaction variable as the mediating variable. The number of samples in this study was determined by purposive sampling method of 100 respondents. From the analysis, it is concluded that the quality of service has a significant effect on student satisfaction of boarding house users in Jatimulyo Malang. Service quality also has a significant effect on the desire to move, but the satisfaction variable cannot be used as a mediating variable to explain the effect of service quality on the desire to switch boarding house service users in Jatimulyo Malang.
