Abstract

Abstract The background of this case report is infection with Coronavirus Disease – 19 (COVID-19) which is an emergency for the whole world. The consequence of the Coronavirus Disease – 19 (COVID-19) pandemic is the development of knowledge about Coronavirus Disease – 19 (COVID-19). Based on medical records, there were cases of patients diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), a patient who a few months earlier had been confirmed to have Coronavirus Disease – 19 (COVID-19). The purpose of this case report is to determine the relationship of Coronavirus Disease-19 (COVID-19) with the incidence of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). In this case, it is suspected that there is a relationship between Coronavirus Disease-19 (COVID-19) and the incidence of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) can interact with the Renin-Angiotensin system (RAS) which ultimately causes an increase in Angiotensin 2. Based on in vitro studies, there is an imbalance in the Renin-Angiotensin system (RAS) caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome. Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) has the potential to increase leukemogenesis in vivo. The conclusion of this study shows that it has not been able to prove that there is a relationship between patients suffering from Coronavirus Disease-19 (COVID-19) with the incidence of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), further research is needed that focuses on the Renin-Angiotensin system (RAS) imbalance. The symptoms experienced by the patient are coinciding between Coronavirus Disease-19 (COVID-19) and Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Konsekuensi terjadinya pandemi Coronavirus Disease – 19 (COVID-19) yaitu terjadi perkembangan pengetahuan mengenai Coronavirus Disease – 19 (COVID-19).
