Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh toksisitas ekstrak daun seledri (Apium graveolens) terhadap histopatologi limpa tikus (Sprague Dawley ). Jenis penelitian yang diterapkan secara eksperimental dan diselesaikan secara acak (RAL). 24 ekor tikus (Sprague Dawley) dibagi dalam 3 perlakuan dan 1 kontrol digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Perlakuan terdiri dari banyak kelompok, yaitu kelompok (P0) tanpa ekstrak seledri, kelompok (P1) mendapat ekstrak seledri 50 mg/kg, kelompok (P2) mendapat ekstrak seledri 500 mg/kg, dan kelompok (P3) mendapat 5000 mg /kg ekstrak seledri. Tikus diberi ekstrak seledri selama 14 hari setelah adaptasi selama 7 hari. Pada hari ke-14 ekor tikus di euthanasi dengan metode dislokasi serviks hari itu, setelah itu dinekropsi dan diambil sampel limpanya untuk preparat histopatologi. Temuan analisis data pada limpa ogan menggunakan uji Kruskal Wallis menunjukkan tidak ada peradangan, nekrosis, degenerasi, atau perdarahan. Tidak ada perbedaan signifikan yang ditemukan dalam analisis (P≥0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian: Uji toksisitas yang dilakukan pada daun seledri (Apium graveolens L.) pada jaringan limpa tikus secara histopatologis diterima sebagai H0, artinya tidak ada pengaruh (Sprague Dawley). ABSTRACT Analyzing the impact of acute toxicity of celery leaf extract (Apium graveolens) on histopathological characteristics of rat spleen was the aim of this study (Sprague Dawley). This type of research is experimental, and the research strategy used is completely randomized (CRD). 24 Sprague Dawley rats were used in this study, with 3 treatments and 1 control. Therapy consisted of several groups: control group (P0) did not receive celery extract; group (P1) received 50 mg/kg celery extract; group (P2) received 500 mg/kg celery extract; and group (P3) received 5000 mg/kg celery extract. Mice underwent an adaptation period of 7 days before receiving celery extract for 14 days. Mice were put to bed with cervical dislocation on day 14, after which necropsy was performed and spleen samples were taken for histological preparations. The Kruskal Wallis test was used to analyze the data on the spleen, and the findings showed that there was no inflammation, necrosis, degeneration, or bleeding. No difference was seen, according to the analysis findings (P≥0.05). The research findings support hypothesis H0, which states that the acute toxicity test of celery leaf extract (Apium graveolens L.) has no impact on the spleen histology of mice (Sprague Dawley).
