Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study were (1).Analyzes the factors that affect inflation in the city of Surabaya. (2). Formulate policy implications of inflation control in Surabaya, Method of Determining the location of a deliberate or purposive, random method of determining respondents. Data were collected by interviews and data analysis using regression methods. Results The highest inflation was in July 2016 that is equal to 0.83, the lowest inflation was in April 2016 that is equal to -0.15. Total Request Rice Surabaya in 2016 the highest amount of demand for rice in 2016 amounted to 31,000 tons and the amount of the lowest rice demand is around 15,000 tonnes. Money supply was highest in December 2016 in the amount of 1,237,642.57, and the money supply is the lowest occurred in January 2016 in the amount of 824,677.97. Production costs (transport) issued if the owner of the company took place in October 2016 in the amount of 135,500,000, is lowest in July and September respectively amounted to 21,455,200. The exchange rate is highest in January 2016 in the amount of 117.04, and the exchange rate was lowest in April 2016 in the amount of 112.01 rice assign roles to about 45 percent of the total food intake, or about 80 percent of the main carbohydrate source in consumption patterns Indonesian society..
