Abstract
INVESTIGATION OF NEMATODIASIS IN GASTROINTESTINAL TRACK OF GOATS (Capra aegagrus hircus) IN KEDAMEAN DISTRICT OF GRESIK REGENCY, EAST JAVA PROVINCE Muchamad Erfan Efendi ABSTRACT This research is descriptive research that was intended to find degree of infection of nematodes in gastrointestinal tract of goats (Capra aegagrus hircus) in Kedamaen district. This research was doing from February – March 2018 at Veterinary Parasitology Laboratory Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Wijaya Kusuma University Surabaya. The analysis methods used in this research were native and floating methods, with a total sample examined as many as 200 samples of 100 samples of male goats and 100 female goat samples. Data analysis used Chi square method to compare incidence rate between goats in upland and lowland in Kedamean district. The results showed there were eight types of nematode worm eggs (Haemoncus sp., Trichostrongylus sp., Nematodirus sp., Strongyloides sp., Oesophagostomum sp., Gaigeria sp., and Oestertagia sp.). From result of Chi Square Xcount count bigger than Xtabel = 3,84 where value Xcount egg nematode worm Haemoncus sp. (11,60), Bunostomum sp (25,39), and Oesophagostomum sp. (25,30). This indicates a high degree of infection in lowland goat beans rather than goats in the highlands. Kata Kunci : Nematodiasis, Goats, TCPGT, Kedamean, Gresik.
